Brief History

Way back in 1994, the year when the school was established and recognized as an Extention of Cotmon National High School situated at Cotmon, Camalig, Albay. Ilawod High School – Cotmon Extension occupied a part of Camalig South Central School’s Territory. At present, it occupies a neighboring lot which was believed to be owned by the Camalig Municipal Government. This lot was made widen through the donation of a kind-hearted Camaligueños Mrs. Amable Moratalla Manila – Bolimas, the only heir of Melitona Obed – Moratalla of Camalig, Albay. This parcel of land consist of 6, 158 sq. m was the fruit of affection of the donor to the residents of Ilawod, Camalig, Albay whom her ancestors belong. The donation was executed last July 14, 2006, in the presence of Mr. Melchizedek C. Tongco, the Principal of Ilawod High School.
